Well, wedding season is officially here and I can’t think of a cooler couple to help me kick it off than Drew and Sarah.
Some of you might remember Drew and Sarah from a number of ads I ran with them in it this past year.
My current ad for Weddings Unvailed also features an image from Sarah’s “Trash the Dress” session.
Their wedding took place at the beautiful West Manor. The weather was nice and cool and the sun was out.
I feel like I have known Sarah and Drew for a long time now. They booked with me back in the early part of 2008.
They have been absolutely wonderful clients to work with. Every aspect of their wedding day was just so much fun.
Their easy going and fun nature worked great for the camera.
I think the best part of the wedding for me was not just shooting it as a photographer, but capturing their day as a friend.
I am excited to share these wedding images with you.

I am really excited to be sharing this great web site/blog with you today.
Janie Medley started the bride’s cafe as a resource for brides planning their weddings.
On your visit to TBC you will be inspired by so many beautiful artists and the most amazing vendors.
She features more ideas on everything wedding than you can possibly imagine.
We are so pleased to have been invited into the TBC family. Just this past week our advertising went live on her site.
We look forward to working with the bride’s cafe this year.
If you’re looking for some great ideas for your wedding check out the Brides Cafe.
But just be warned you may stay there all day long!

Well last year I pick up running as one of my new exercises for the year and had some fun with it. However, when winter hit I kind of lost interest and figured I could pick it back up in the spring. Well, spring is here I have new shoes and a new gadget to help me track my many miles. I got the Nike plus system that works with my Ipod touch to track my miles. So I have been out running a few times now with and I just can’t seem to get the darn thing to work right. Well, last night I was messing with it and it synced to the Nike plus web site to update my progress and I just had to laugh at what it showed for my average pace. I guess with a pace like that I can only get better. Looking forward to more miles and hopefully more actual miles tracked on my Nike plus. Have a great one.
A local paper out of the Forest, VA area called the Forest Life contacted me a week or so ago about using some of my images in their upcoming wedding feature. I was more than happy to help them out. The current March issue is now out and features some of my work as well as some other great local vendors. Larry Compter with the Marriage Alliance has a nice write up as well as my friend Billie Collins of Billies Cakes and Catering. Billie is a very talented caterer and cake designer that I have worked with for a number of years now. I founds my copy of Forest Life at the USPS store near the Graves Mill Center. Hit the links section on my blog for some of my favorite vendors and wedding related web sites. More posts coming this week from a wedding out at West Manor that I shot over the weekend. Have a great week.
