I hope some of you remember our contest from December called the 12 days of Christmas.
Well, our grand prize winner on the 12th day won a session with Stone Blue.
The Anderson family was a fun bunch to work with.
Super sweet and an adorable little boy to photograph.
He might not have been so keen on the camera, but the camera was all over him (and the ice cream was too!).
Nevertheless, a great session and memories made that will be shown, no doubt, at his graduation party.
Ok, I am off to enjoy a bowl of ice cream … enjoy!
Would you like a new iPad? How about a free photo session with some of the best photographers in town? The prizes have been rallied, now all we need is your support.
Here’s the deal: Sam Stroud Photography has asked us to join some other rock star photogs in town to create the Freedom Fridays Contest.
We said for sure count us in how can we help. So hear is the deal.
Each Friday, starting May 21st, Sam Stroud will be giving away one free photo session from some of the most talented lens-a-holics around, including:
On the sixth and final week of the contest (Friday, June 25th), Sam is giving away an iPad. Did you catch that—AN IPAD!
So what does it cost you? In order to be eligible to win, you need to make a suggested donation of $24 to Freedom 4/24. It’s that simple. For every donation you make, your chances of winning goes up, but only one donation is required.
Freedom 4/24 is an organization that exists to provide a pathway to freedom for the sexually exploited in Southeast Asia. Right now, hundreds of thousands of women in Thailand alone are forced to sell their bodies to provide for their families. Your donation of $24 can give one exploited woman 24 hours of freedom and the chance at freedom for a lifetime. Visit www.freedom424.org for more information and to DONATE!
Just $24 can win you an iPad and a photo session with Lynchburgs best photographers and give one woman the opportunity for a different life. Start by donating today!
Thanks for joining in and doing your part .
In the Guelzo family, we are a pretty tight bunch and get together for all the holidays.
Easter in our family is, well, one of the big ones as we all gather together to eat, talk and have our annual Easter egg hunt.
As kids, my siblings and I loved the hunt and cleaned up at pretty much any Easter egg hunting event we ever attended.
We were so good, we even were given time penalties so the other kids could have a fighting chance at getting some candy.
Well, I am not here to talk about how great my candy grabbing skills were….or are.
This year was a little different, as it was the first time I had someone special to pass on my mad skills to. In my arms at the starting line this year was my son Ian and we were ready to clean house together.
This was Ian’s first Easter in our family and we could not be happier to have him here.
What a blessing it is to have our son join in the family fun and help dad bring in another win.
After the hunt was over and Ian had finished all his candy (ha!), it was time for him to change into a special outfit my wife had found him and take some official Easter photos.
I think I will let the photos do the rest of the storytelling for me.
How did I get such a cute kid? I can only credit my wife for his looks.
Enjoy, and I hope you had a blessed Easter with family and friends as well .

Today as my wife and I celebrate the five month mark of our son Ian joining our family I am happy to share with you a blog post from my beautiful wife Mauresa.
Enjoy and thanks babe for sharing this with us all.
The holidays may be over but it’s not to late to schedule a spring family session with Stone Blue.

By special request I am posting this short video I made of our journey to rescue my nephew Jude who was snowed in at his grandparents’ house so he could be with his mother on his first birthday.
