I donate my time and talent each year to capture a few shows for the Academy of Fine Arts.

Their recent community show is called Into The Woods.

The show is made up of all local unpaid talent.

Check it out and support the local arts.

The new issue of Lynchburg Living just hit the racks and yes it is that time again for their Best Of Lynchburg Contest.

They have now after much asking added a best local photography section.

I am asking for your help and your vote for Stone Blue in this category.

We would love to win this section but we need your help to do so.

You can cast your vote by going to Lynchburg Livings web site or by mailing in a ballet found in the current issue.

Thanks for your time and help in casting your vote.

We can’t do this without you.

42nd Street

This past week I captured a great new production at the Academy of Fine Arts called 42nd Street.

42nd Street is the Academy’s big community show that they do each year.

It’s a great show with lots of fun songs and great dance numbers.

The show runs from May 1-10.

The Academy of Fine Arts is offering a nice discount for mother’s day on their upcoming show 42nd Street.

I just finished headshots for the show and will be going back to capture images from the live show soon.

If you have not seen a show down to the Academy before this is a great time to do it and earn some extra credit with your mom.

In the Mood stopped in Lynchburg, Va as the first stop on there new tour. In the Mood is a musical salute to the “swing” sound of the early ’40s featuring a big band, fabulous singers and dancers, great songs and dazzling costumes. A retro look at the life & times of America’s greatest generation. With music that combines up-tempo big band rhythms to mellow intimate ballads. Come experience the swing & rhythm of this most sentimental and romantic era. Check out there web site to see if In the Mood will be playing in your area next.
